Split Archives
Divide large archives into multiple volumes
7-Zip can split large archives into multiple smaller volumes (parts), making it easier to store them on removable media or transfer over networks with size limits.
You can specify the volume size in bytes, kilobytes, megabytes, or gigabytes. Each volume is named sequentially (e.g., archive.7z.001, archive.7z.002).
To extract a split archive, all volumes must be present in the same directory. 7-Zip automatically detects and combines them.
